Sheree Speaks-Mahi was elected 3rd vice chair of the Linn County Democratic Central Committee.

This was our second monthly general meeting at Santiam Place.

Communications Chair Circe Verba and Linn Dems Chair Jerred Taylor ham it up with their hats.

Linn Dems meet April 4 over chili in Lebanon

More than 30 people turned out for the Linn County Democrats monthly general meeting and Chili Cookoff on April 4 at Santiam Place Event & Wedding Hall in Lebanon. There were five chilis to sample, and Lebanon Democrat Andy Belcher's chili was voted the winner. In another vote,  Sheree Speaks-Mahi of Lebanon was elected third vice chair of the Linn County Democratic Central Committee. She succeeds Krystal Overvig. The Linn Dems Executive Committee met briefly afterward, picking possible dates in late August and September for our annual Cookout & Pie Auction, which will also be held at Santiam Place. Thanks to our chili cookoff cooks and organizers who made it a fun evening for all.
