WHY I'M RUNNING:

I have spent my life serving others in one capacity or another. I want to serve the people of District 17, to give back to the people who have given so much to me during my 25 years of living in this area.
I come from a farming family, and I want to make sure that farmers in District 17 have what they need to thrive in one of the riskiest business ventures there is. I come from rural people, and I want to make sure that we have the same quality of education, the same opportunity for well-paying jobs, and the same assurance of safety in our homes, businesses, churches and schools as others in Oregon.
I believe that political service is, or should be, one of the highest forms of service to others. I believe I can be an asset to the people of District 17 in Salem because I share the same values and the same desire for the chance to look forward to good educations, good jobs, higher incomes and more care for each other.

Hello Renee,

I was present last evening at the Linn County Dem meeting and listened to you. I wanted to speak with you after the meeting, but I guess you left early.

I live in Mill City for just over 2 years now and I am happy to see your engagement with a desire to be a representative from this district.

Your story is a strong passionate tale, and we have common ground. Not sure how I can help, but I have been working with Nancy and the neighborhood program here in Mill City.

I converted to the Democrats movement in 2008 which was the first time I never voted Republican. I lost my Job and was unable to get heath insurance due to a pre existing condition. I want to say I am more trans political on issue, and I am anti Trump.

Keep me posted on your movements.
