WHY I'M RUNNING:
Our district deserves representation in Salem that is willing to listen to the voices of all its residents, to fight for its workers and to support its businesses. Our campaign is about supporting workers’ rights and addressing the concerns of business; pushing for positive, economic growth throughout the region. We can make positive changes that benefit public and private workers, and businesses large and small.
  This is personal to me.
I, along with nearly 100 of my peers, lost our jobs when the manufacturer we worked for ceased operations late in 2017. We were fortunate that our employer, and the state, worked to ensure we had access to job training, unemployment benefits, severance and more. That isn’t always the case. Linn county alone has lost almost 5% of its manufacturing jobs over the last 10 years. Talented workers with years, or even decades, of experience in highly specialized jobs are left with few to no options. But we can change this trajectory.

Sounds like the man we need in the Legistature to represent our district.
