Why I’m running:
In uncertain times, we all face challenging economic choices. This is no different for Linn County. I have gone to work and collected a paycheck for more than 30 years.  When I see that our elected leaders are career politicians, business owners or landed folk, I am inspired to stand up for the interests of hard working men and women in Linn County.  Business owners and politicians have different priorities than working folks, and we need a voice on the Linn County Board of Commissioners to look out for our interests. Linn County should be operated in the interests of the many, not for the benefit of the few.  For 30 years I have worked as a social studies teacher,  preparing students to be participants in our democracy. Now is the time for me to walk the talk and become involved in the process. I am an advocate for listening to all voices, and making the tough decisions for the betterment of our county. For the future of Linn County, I want to serve as Linn County Commissioner.

Hi Brad ,

Welcome aboard this most important election in our County and of course the Nation .Yes many issues needs or better attention of. I'm Don Bramley , 82 , moved to Linn County 3 yrs . Resident of The Oaks at Lebanon 17 months. Scott Bruslind and family are my very grateful friends. There is no doubt in the past 30 years , you can spot lack of leadership. We have a Good directer at The Oaks, Angie Kirsch . Many of my friends here see the political situation differently or not clear, but we do find common ground to get along. I support your campaign. Don Bramley
