WORK HISTORY: Started Conversion Brewing Company in downtown Lebanon; Georgia Pacific Resins quality assurance chemist; Pima County Wastewater Management senior chemist; cooper mine chemist in Arizona; water quality specialist and farm laborer at Pacific Aqua Farms in Niland, Calif.; Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand, 1984-87.
EDUCATION: New Milford High School, Conn. 1977; bachelor's degree in chemistry, 1982, from Upsala College, East Orange, N.J.; master's degree in argricultural education, 1996, University of Arizona.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Board member, Lacomb Irrigation District.
