WHY I'M RUNNING:
As an Albany resident for the last nine years, I have witnessed a disconnection between the people and the House District 15. It is important to be in communication with the people in Albany, Tangent and Millersburg with what is happening in the House, and not just give personal opinion, but to look at the facts.  For the last 18 years, HD15 has been a one-party control, in which many of us, like myself, do not feel that we are being represented.
I want the people in HD15 to feel that they are being heard and advocated for, and that if they have concerns and want to address issues, they know that they can count on me.
The three main issues that I will address are: Education, Affordable Living, and Representation/Advocacy.
With the passing of the Student Success Act, we need to continue to bring full funding to our public schools. That is why it is important that we fully support our students, teachers and classified staff. We need to grow education to guarantee economic growth, and not cut it!
Making sure all individuals have an affordable living, especially now that costs are up, wages are down, healthcare is expensive, we have to choose between going to the doctor or staying home — and sometimes going back to work while sick because we can’t afford to have sick time off.  I will work with legislators to help make first-time home buyer programs more accessible to all and find ways to make everyone's wages grow.
I will be representative who is there to think about those who typically don’t have representation: Low income, most vulnerable, immigrant, struggling families.
It takes a village to raise a child, so let's all get together and come up with a solution!
