Why I'm running: I am 100 percent invested in our children’s education as both a parent and an educator. Despite the burden this pandemic has put on our kids, our families, our teachers, and our community, I see an amazing opportunity not only to find our “normal” once again, but utilize the incredible tools both teachers and students have gained while in CDL and rebuild our school systems that were broken long before the pandemic.I want to serve your kids and be a part of this movement. With a deep understanding of systems in education and with experience serving students as a teacher who have high needs, are English Language Learners, as well as our highest academic achievers, I believe it’s time to eliminate the flaws the pandemic has brought to the surface and create access for each and every student, to the highest quality education they can have.
