LBCC has a unique opportunity to equip students with the skills they need in our modern, fast-changing economy—whether in skilled trades, healthcare, education, small business, or other essential industries. Growing up in a working-class background, I know firsthand how education transforms lives, and I am committed to ensuring every LBCC student has a clear path to stable, living-wage jobs in our community. If elected, I will work to: • Strengthen career and technical education programs. • Expand high school partnerships for affordable college credit. • Keep tuition low while ensuring LBCC’s financial sustainability. • Increase outreach to Latino and low-income communities. • Strengthen collaboration between LBCC and OSU to expand opportunities for transfer credits. We are living in a time of significant change, and LBCC plays a key role |
in shaping a sustainable, skilled workforce. Strong leadership and a clear vision can ensure every student — regardless of background — has the opportunity to succeed.
