WHY I'M RUNNING?
I’m running because the time for change is now. We need diverse leaders who will do everything possible to address the issues facing our state.
Growing up in rural Oregon, I saw firsthand how the deck is stacked against many Oregonians, including working families, students, and women. I’m running because all Oregonians deserve opportunities to succeed – regardless of salary and zip code. I’ve spent my entire career standing up for women, students, and working families, and when elected I will continue to do just that.
I will work tirelessly to make our state a better place for everyone, by giving children the resources they need to succeed, making college more affordable and accessible, ensuring that health care is a basic human right, and transitioning our state to a clean energy economy while supporting working families.
